Not a flimsy stamped metal part ... solid brass, with a new rubber sealing "O" ring included.
Includes a new heavy gauge 5' power cord for 120V AC and detailed installation instructions.
Fits any 6.2L or 6.5L GM Diesel in any vehicle..... Pickup Trucks, Vans, H-1 Hummers..... any 6.2 or 6.5 Diesel engine.
Replace an old heater ... or install in an engine that never had one. A must for smooth safe engine starting below 30 degrees F.
Our customers in Alaska and Northern Canada often install one on each side of the engine for their extreme cold climates.
Standard mounting position is in the center core plug hole on the driver's side.
Also replaces old 6.5 & 6.2 L block heater with LR1843 marking.
Block and pad heaters have the longest life and consume considerably less electricity when used in conjunction with a controller such as the Power Badger®
